The Egyptian Museum and Papyrus Collection in Berlin is popular with visitors to the city for is world renown collection of ancient artefacts.

The museum’s collection features sculptures of Pharaohs, decorated coffins, books of the death and other objects, many of which were found in temples and graves of ancient Egypt.

The most famous artefact of the museum is the bust of Nefertiti, an elegant sculpture which sits in its own dedicated room. Also on exhibition is Berlin’s “Green Head” a piece dating back to 500BC and takes it name from the green stone it’s made from.

Visitors can explore the Egyptian Museum Berlin for free – saving 12 Euros.
